Staff Training

Al-Masar Learning Support Program has completed a series of training activities for advancing and further developing the skills of its staff in conducting psycho-educational testing and specialized educational tutoring for students with specific learning difficulties.

In  August 2011, a one week training course was conducted at AL-Masar by specialists in the field from United Kingdom. This was followed by three staff members spending 3 weeks visiting a number of schools/centres in the United Kingdom that offer educational and therapeutic support for students with specific learning difficulties. During this visit they also attended a series of workshops and courses delivered by the British Dyslexia Association.
